Pension Bounty

On the atoll of Rangiroa, located to the northeast of Tahiti in French Polynesia, you will find the Pension Bounty in a conviviale, comfortable structure surrounded by coconut plantation. A private road leads diectly to the nearby beach on the beautiful bay of Ohotu. At one end of this beach, picturesque taxi-boats can take you across the pass to visit the village of Tiputa and other areas on the atoll.
Location
Located to the northeast of Tahiti, Rangiroa is the largest atoll of French Polynesia, and one of the largest in the world. Its lagoon is big enough to contain the entire island of Tahiti.
Accommodation
In the heart of a tropical garden, the Pension Bounty, newly constructed in Kohu wood and red cedar is located just a few meters from the beach of the magnificent Ohotu bay, one of the most beautiful spots in Rangiroa.
Muriel and Alain (level 3 diver) welcome you to their 4 comfortable studios, where the calm and tranquility will captivate you.
Each double studio with European comfort requirements includes: Equipped kitchenette.

Activities
A wide variety of activities are available, including : Aquascope, Deep sea fishing, Spearfishing, Snorkeling : simply with a mask and a snorkel, you will be able to admire one of the most beautiful natural aquariums of the world. Dolphin Watch Eco Tour : Discover the dolphins’life with a scholar. Pearl farm visit. The bicycles, available free at the pension will make you enjoy rides toward Avatoru Village and differents spots where magnificient sunsets will entice you.
We also offer NUMEROUS EXCURSIONS UPON REQUEST, including The Blue Lagoon : a lagoon within a lagoon, and its bird Island. The Isle of Reefs : Abraded coral formations, chiseled by erosion. The Pink Sands : crystal clear water entice you in for a swim. These are all-day excursions including a traditional picnic served on woven coconut palm fronds : marinated fish, coconut bread ...
Diving
Rangiroa, an atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago, offers exceptional dives : pelagic fish, manta rays, hammerhead sharks, gray sharks, black-tips, white-tips, jack fish, barracudas, dolphins, turtles ...
There is a large concentration of underwater life in the two passes of Avatoru and Tiputa, key fish passage ways between the lagoon and the ocean.
The reputation of these dives is also based on the particularly exhilarating drift dives in the passes, wich divers especially delight in.
Eco-Adventure
Its deep lagoon with its exceptionally clear turquoise waters hold a dense population of marine fauna, and colonies of birds can be seen on the motus. The vegetation is typical of the French Polynesian atolls : pandanus, plumeria and of course the tiare, symbol of Tahiti.
